While Frontier Days kicks off summer in Swift Current, Cowboys & Chrome is your official final party of the season — a high-octane celebration of horsepower, heritage, and community spirit.
Planned as one of our signature annual fundraisers, Cowboys & Chrome will support essential local programs like youth education at Discover the Farm, free family entertainment during Frontier Days, and the preservation of local history through Doc’s Town Heritage Village.

Get ready for heart-pounding rodeo action as the BRC Bull Riding event takes centre stage at Cowboys & Chrome! Featuring elite riders from across the region, this event promises edge-of-your-seat excitement and fierce competition. The bulls are provided by CS Bucking Bulls of Kyle, SK — renowned for producing top-quality, high-performance bucking stock that challenges even the toughest cowboys. Whether you're a seasoned rodeo fan or new to the sport, this is one wild ride you won’t want to miss!
The Swift Current Stock Car Racing Association will bring the thunder to the dirt track at Kinetic Park in an adrenaline-charged showdown. Expect a thrilling lineup of modifieds, minis, streets, and hobby stocks as drivers compete in their final race of the season — a must-see for racing fans and families alike.
Of course, no festival is complete without great eats! Cowboys & Chrome will host a tasty selection of food trucks from across the Prairies. Be sure to grab fan favourites like mini donuts and a refreshing ice-cold lemonade — the perfect summer pairing.
Car lovers, take note! An informal Show & Shine will be rolling into the Kinetic Park parking lot. This casual display invites classic, custom, and unique vehicles of all kinds, offering a relaxed chance to admire chrome, swap stories, and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
Wrapping up the night in true country style, Fox and the Hounds from Medicine Hat, AB return to Swift Current following their Frontier Days Cabaret performance. Known for their tight harmonies, dynamic stage presence, and crowd-pleasing energy, they’ll bring the party to the Saloon Cabaret to close out the summer with a bang.
