HELPING HANDS

This photo from the Depression years is proof that Saskatchewan has a long history of lending a helping hand to those in need. Members of the Plenty community were loading four carloads of relief straw for southern Saskatchewan. The Rev. Wilkinson was president of the committee which was organized in the Depression years. D.M. MacIntosh was secretary-treasurer.
