ICE ICE BABY!

A mix of freezing rain and snow caused significant disruption on highways throughout west central Saskatchewan from Friday evening until Saturday morning, leading to hazardous travel conditions and numerous road closures. On Friday night, a stretch of Highway 21 near Kerrobert was shut down due to hazardous ice formation. The Kerrobert Fire & Rescue team took to social media to warn the public against travelling, noting that their personnel were responding to yet another accident in the region.
