Nothing better than a parade

There’s nothing better than a parade, and this children’s parade was held some time in the 1930s along Main Street in Kindersley. The children were part of town celebrations and enthusiastically joined in. As you can see, they not only dressed up in costumes, but also brought their favourite animals, including dogs and calves. The C.W. Baker Store is in the centre of the photo, next to the Royal Bank on the corner of First Avenue East.
